What happens to your information when you contact us. Short, because we don't do much with it.
This site sets no cookies
There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking on this website. Nothing is stored on your device and there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number, and whatever vehicle details and description you choose to give us. If you call or message instead, we hold whatever you tell us in that conversation.
What we do with it
We use it to answer your enquiry and, if you become a customer, to carry out and keep records of the work. The lawful basis is legitimate interest for responding to an enquiry, and performance of a contract once you have booked work with us.
We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.
Who else handles it
The enquiry form is processed by Cloudflare, which passes the message to Resend, which delivers it to our inbox. Our email is hosted by Microsoft. These providers process the data on our instructions in order to deliver the message.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Records relating to work carried out are kept for six years, which is the period we may need them for tax and liability purposes.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@wawautomotive.co.uk and we'll deal with it within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
