The basis on which we carry out work.
Quotes and estimates
A quote is a fixed price for the work described. An estimate is our best assessment based on the information available, and may change if the work turns out to be different once we can see the vehicle. We will tell you which one we are giving you.
Where additional work becomes necessary, we will contact you with a price before carrying it out. We will not do additional chargeable work without your agreement.
Diagnostics
Diagnostic time is chargeable whether or not it results in a repair, because the work is the investigation itself. We will tell you the diagnostic charge before starting.
Parts
Parts we supply carry the manufacturer's warranty. Where you supply your own parts we will fit them if it is safe and practical to do so, but we cannot warranty a part we have not supplied, and labour to replace a failed customer-supplied part is chargeable again.
Collection and delivery
Collection and delivery is carried out by Wheels and Waves Transport. Vehicles are transported under that company's insurance. We will agree collection times with you in advance and keep you informed if they change.
Payment
Payment is due on completion, before the vehicle is returned or collected, unless we have agreed account terms with you in writing.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
